Post image for Snowed In? Make Chicken Hot Pockets.

The snow…the snow!  I’ve seen enough of it already.  And I have plans for winter to end in the latter portion of January.  Yes, that’s right, winter will end in a month.  Hear that, Mother Nature?  Yes?  Got it?  Good.  On January 26, you can find me outside in shorts and a t-shirt, frolicking in [...]

Gingerbread houses scare me. Why? Let me clarify: the houses themselves don’t scare me.  In all of their adorableness, how could they?  Even the pansiest pansy of a person couldn’t be scared by a gingerbread house.  Fruit roll-up sidewalks, gumdrop adornments, and gingerbread inhabitants are hardly imposing. I’m 99.99% sure my dog is laying in the living room (and I’m looking right at her). Those 99.99% certainties are much [...]

I’m getting anxious for fall to arrive.  I cannot wait for the spectacular running weather, the crunchy sunburnt leaves, the college football season, the pumpkin baked goods, and the tasty limited edition of Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spiced Latte. For me, autumn holds many great memories of summersaulting through raked leaves and getting crunchy bits of dead [...]
